Established in 2007, ASCENT GROUP unites leading companies like Scholastica, Aurora, SPEED, Ignite, and Imagine Technologies. With roots dating back to 1977 through Scholastica, Bangladesh’s largest English-medium school founded by Mrs. Yasmeen Murshed, the group thrives under Chairman Syed Maher Murshed and Managing Director Syeda Madiha Murshed. Now, ASCENT GROUP embarks on a new chapter with the launch of Ascent Healthcare, continuing its commitment to creating lasting value for the nation.

What Happens When I Book an Appointment at AHL?

You should have received a confirmation message that includes:

• The time and date of your appointment

• The name of the consultant you’ll be meeting with

How Do I Reschedule My Appointment?

To reschedule your appointment, please call our call center 09666-859933 at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.

Is Your Phone Number Up to Date?

We collected your phone number when you first visited the chamber/lab, or your GP provided it if this is your first visit. If you’ve recently changed your number, please inform us by calling + 88 (02) 58815222 or let us know during your next visit.

I Have a Speech Problem/I’m Uncomfortable on the Phone. Can You Help?

Our staff are trained to handle calls with care and patience. If you prefer to have someone speak on your behalf, please let us know during the call. 

Can I Still Have a Telephone Appointment if Bengali or English Is Not My First Language?

Yes, we can use a service called Language Line to assist during the call. 

If You Can’t Make Your Online Appointment

If you’re unable to attend your online appointment, please notify us as soon as possible by calling our number. We’ll do our best to reschedule. 

Travelling to and from the Chamber/Lab

You must arrange your own transport to and from the chamber/lab. For directions and information on parking on our facilities, please visit our Contact Us page. 

What to Bring with You?

• Your appointment letter so you know where to go and who to see. 

• Any medications you’re taking so you can inform us about them. 

• Any samples we’ve requested, such as urine or stool. 

• A list of any questions you’d like to ask. 

What Not to Bring with You?

Please avoid bringing valuables like jewelry or watches, especially if your letter indicates you may need to remove them during your appointment. We cannot take responsibility for these items, so it’s best to leave them at home. 

Preventing Infection

We take infection prevention very seriously. If you have a cold, cough, or any other infectious condition, please wear a mask when visiting. There are also additional steps you can take to help us prevent the spread of infection: 

• Wash or sanitize your hands before and after visiting the doctor or lab, and always after using the toilet. 

• Use soap and water to wash your hands, ensuring you wash and dry them thoroughly. Hand washing sinks are available in our restrooms. 

• There are multiple hand sanitizer stations around the clinic. 

• If you have symptoms such as flu, diarrhea, or other infections, please take precautions before coming in, or call us for guidance.

After your consultation, we will advise you on any necessary medical investigations and guide you accordingly.

How to Request?

Sample Collection

How and when can I Book an Appointment? 

Sample collection services are available every day of the year. Walk in for testing or arrange Home Collection. For further assistance, please contact us at 09666-859933.

What areas are covered for sample collection? 

Sample collection services are available throughout Dhaka city. 

Payment Options

Cash, all credit and debit cards and bKash are accepted.

Cancellation Charges

There are no cancellation charges, but cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance. 

Doctor’s Prescription

A prescription is preferred but not mandatory for home sample collection.

Sample Collection for Children

We offer sample collection services for children of all ages.

Report Delivery Time

For samples collected before 12 pm, reports are emailed the same day. 

For samples collected after 12 pm, reports are emailed the next day. 

For tests that require additional interpretation time, you will be informed accordingly. 

Report Collection Hours

If you require a printed report, it can be collected from our centre between Saturday to Thursday, 10am to 8pm.

Please bring your receipt copy.
