Ronald Micky Gomes

Ronald Micky is a globally credentialed business leader with over 20 years of C-suite experience across healthcare and diagnostics, financial services, asset management, and platform-led enterprises. As Chief Operating Officer of Ascent Health Limited, he leads the full operational, commercial, and strategic agenda of one of Dhaka’s fastest-scaling multispecialty healthcare and diagnostics networks—spanning specialty consultation, advanced diagnostics, and home healthcare delivery and hospital & diagnostics services (B2B) across the country.

A business builder by instinct and a finance professional by discipline, Ronald is recognized for running the entire enterprise end-to-end — P&L, operations, commercial, clinical delivery, treasury, and governance — with the rigor demanded by global investors, regulators, and international accrediting bodies.

Prior to Ascent Health, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Thyrocare Bangladesh Limited, where he tripled enterprise value within three years, delivered consecutive EBITDA growth of 229% and 173%, and secured the country’s first internationally benchmarked laboratory accreditation from the College of American Pathologists (CAP, USA). He subsequently joined Praava Health Limited as Senior Director, leading business strategy, operational planning, and scale-up across clinics, laboratories, and digital health delivery. Earlier, he served as chief financial officer of the Bangladesh platform of a New York-headquartered private equity and asset management firm.

Ronald holds dual master’s degrees in Finance (MBA and MBS), and is a Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA) a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (FCMA), United Kingdom, and a Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) of AICPA, USA.
